Przejęcie Arłukowicza musiało zachęcić Platformę, bo w mediach pojawiły się kolejne nazwiska – Pinior, Grabowska, Rosati. Jeżeli poważni i doświadczeni ludzie, przez całe życie afiliując rozliczne ugrupowania lewicowe, dziś decydują się wstąpić do partii liberalno – konserwatywnej, to musiała się zdarzyć jedna z dwóch możliwości. Albo Platforma tak znacznie przesunęła się w lewo, że znalazło się dla nich miejsce, albo zmienili swoje poglądy i teraz mieszczą się w PO.

Przedstawiona logika zakłada, że proceder pozyskiwania tych ludzi jest uczciwy i oparty na wartościach. Wtedy nic nam, obserwatorom, do tego, co zrobi taka postać jak Józef Pinior. Być może jednak chodzi o załatwienie sobie mandatów w Sejmie. Wtedy trzeba proceder nazwać wprost – niecałe pół roku przed wyborami odbywa się próba grabieży z takim trudem odbudowanego poparcia dla lewicy. Przy okazji możliwe transfery ochoczo komentuje Wojciech Filemonowicz (jakby ktoś zapomniał – szef SdPl), który szkodzi SLD tak, jak do tej pory, np. w wyborach europejskich.

Sojuszu ta akcja nie powali, ale jakiś rachunek trzeba będzie zapłacić. Przynajmniej nie będzie wątpliwości, kto ma prawo do lewicowej etykiety.

Either – or

The acquisition of Bartosz Arlukowicz must have encouraged the Civic Platform, because there are more names popping out in the media - Pinior, Grabowska, Rosati. If serious and experienced people who have practiced the left wing politics their entire lives now switch to a liberal-conservative party, that must mean that one of two things happened. Either the Platform has moved towards the left so much that there's room for them, or their views changed so much that they suddenly fit the ideology of the Platform.

The logic presented above assumes that the procedure of acquiring those people is valuable and founded on honest intentions. In that case, it doesn't matter what people like Józef Pinior might do. However, maybe it's all just about getting a seat in the parliament. In such case, we need to call it the way it is - not more than 6 months before the elections, there is a case of theft happening - a theft regarding such hard earned support of the left side. The "transfers" are being commented by Wojciech Filemonowicz (in case somebody forgot - the head of SdPl), who hurts SLD the same way he has been doing all along, like in case of the elections for the European Parliament.

The SLD will not be tackled by such situation, but there will be a price to be paid. At least, we will know who truly deserves the left label.
