Jak w każde Święta Wielkanocne, w grobie Jezusa realizują się niespełnione ambicje proboszczów. Ten rok przyćmił pozostałe, bo i okazja była nie byle jaka. Byłem spokojny do momentu ujawnienia "grobu z Tupolewem". Wtedy postanowiłem włączyć się w nurt politycznej refleksji i, choć bez wdzięku, namalowałem dwie pisanki.
Pierwsza, czerwonymi literami informuje: "Smoleńsk pomścimy", a szczyt jaja wieńczy dumny orzeł. Druga odnosi się do wątku, którego na ołtarzach co prawda nie poruszono, ale jest on nowy i ważny w naszym życiu publicznym. Jajo zdobi inskrypcja: "Staruch rządzi".
Syn, inspirowany moją twórczością, choć swą pisankę poświęcił motoryzacji, dopisał wyraźnymi literami: "Tu jest Polska!".

Graves and Easter eggs
Just like any other Easter Holidays, this year the traditional "graves" of Christ that were placed in the Polish churches were a reflection of the provost’s ambitions. This year overwhelmed the previous years because the opportunities were quite overwhelming as well. I maintained my cool until the "grave" with a stylization of the Tupolev plane (same one as crashed in Smolensk) was revealed. Then I decided to join the mainstream of political reflection and despite the lack of true artistic value, I created two Easter eggs.
First one says in bold, red letters "Revenge for Smolensk" and on the top of the Easter egg, I placed a graceful small drawing of the White Eagle. Second Easter egg creation relates to a far less known and less discussed but nonetheless important to our public life. The egg says "The Staruch rules". (The Staruch is a nickname of a soccer fan, who attacked one of the soccer players after his favorite team lost, to "punish" him for the loss).
My son, inspired by my initiative, even though he sacrificed most of the room on his Easter egg for motorization and car stuff, he later added a writing "This is Poland!".
