Oczywista oczywistość

W naszej kulturze ludzie prezentują pokorę wobec śmierci. Wobec śmierci i związanych z nią pojęć, a więc: pogrzebu, trumny, cmentarza, testamentu. U Jarosława Kaczyńskiego jest odwrotnie. Śmierć brata stanowi wygodny obszar politycznych manewrów. Doświadczaliśmy tego w minionym roku.

Wczoraj prezes poszedł jednak dalej. Opublikował "testament" zmarłego brata. Mówi nam w nim jakiej Polski chciałby były prezydent. Można się domyślić – bezpiecznej, silnej, cieszącej się szacunkiem obywateli, respektem sąsiadów, itd., itd. Jest też trochę o "Solidarności" i polityce historycznej. Aby te marzenia się zrealizowały, o konieczności przejęcia władzy przez Jarosława śp. Lech nie wspomina, ale to oczywista oczywistość.

Jarosław napisał testament brata i nawet mu ręka nie drgnęła, gdy używał tego zabiegu do prezentacji swojego programu wyborczego. Ale tak już jest i będzie. Brat zza grobu musi wykonać swoje zadanie, a jak widać, w nowej sytuacji, od roku, jest lepszy i może więcej.

The obvious obviousness

In our culture, people are humble when faced with the subject of death. Also with all of the aspects tied to death - such as funerals, coffin, cemetery, last will. In case of the chairman Jaroslaw Kaczynski this attitude is quite opposite. His brother's death is a convenient room for political manipulation. That's what we've experienced last year.

Yesterday the chairman Kaczynski went one step further. He published the "last will" of his brother. It describes what kind of Poland his brother would like to see. It is easy to assume it would be a safer, stronger nation, a nation that has its citizens' respect as well as its neighbors' respect, etc. There's a little bit more about the "Solidarity" and political history. For those dreams to come true, the obviously obvious thing would be for Jaroslaw to take over the authority but that is, obviously, not mentioned but strongly in default.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski is the one who wrote his brother's "last will" and his hand didn’t even shake when he was doing it to promote himself and his ideas for the election. However, that's just the way it is, his brother has to fulfill his mission, even despite the fact that he's six feet under, and as it turns out, since last year, he's even better at it and can do even more.
